The year is 1924 and Baby Joe’s Mother sings about how her life is so perfect and normal but her words do not ring true. As the song progresses we learn of the deep, dark secret she is fighting so hard to ignore and by the end of the tune we realize that she isn’t “living the dream” but living in a dream world of her own denial.
